Your résumé summarizes and highlights your qualifications for the job. Rather than a list of everything you've done, it shows relevant skills and accomplishments in your experience and education. Use it to review those things you've done that have prepared you for the job and demonstrate your potential.
- Summary of Qualifications: Your experiences (paid and volunteer), education, and other credentials that demonstrate you can do the job.
- Marketing Tool: The goal of a résumé is to get an interview, not the job; the interview will get you the job.
- Minimum Requirements: At the least, include your name, contact information, education, and experience.
